VASSAR 2025: Design, Soul, and Sustainability in Motion

From June 18 to 23, VASSAR Fair returns. And it does so with greater purpose, deeper awareness, and even more soul.

Throughout its eight editions, VASSAR has established itself as a unique space — a fair that doesn’t just showcase products, but celebrates ways of life. In the heart of Parque El Country in Bogotá, more than 450 Colombian brands will gather to offer design, art, gastronomy, and intentional experiences.

This year, Clean Energy joins the fair through a growing alliance with Páramo Impacta. We will take part as members of the Sustainability Award jury, support visibility for the winning projects, and once again contribute to the event’s carbon footprint compensation through certified credits from The Community Forests, generated by Indigenous-led projects in Caquetá and the Amazon.

The value of what often goes unseen

Those of us who have had the privilege of walking through VASSAR know that behind every brand, there’s more than aesthetics. There are stories. There are conscious decisions. There are entrepreneurs who understand that sustainability is not a label, but a way of being in the world.

As a jury member of the Sustainability Award — a role I’m honored to assume for the third time — I’ve had the opportunity to discover proposals that truly deserve to be seen and celebrated. Through this role, I’ve come to know some remarkable initiatives, such as:

The Loop Concept, which not only designs furniture but gives new life to 100% recycled plastic, transforming it into unique pieces that merge functional design with environmental impact. Each object is a statement: it is possible to inhabit spaces that are both beautiful and circular.

CaryO, a brand deeply rooted in the Colombian Amazon, has turned Cacay oil into a bridge between skincare and forest conservation. Each product supports over 50 rural harvesting families, helping preserve wild trees and proving that beauty and sustainability can walk hand in hand.

Piante, meanwhile, reminds us that plants are more than decoration — they are living experiences. For over nine years, they’ve cultivated orchids and ornamental species through a model that combines tradition, formal rural employment, and a business vision that turns emotion into living nature.

These are just a few among many brands moving along this path. Different in their approaches, yet united by something essential: a regenerative vision of the present, and the certainty that sustainability is also cultivated through creativity.

A shared journey

This alliance with Páramo Impacta didn’t begin today. We’ve been building it over several editions — different initiatives connected by a common purpose: to give visibility to what drives transformation.

At Clean Energy, we continue to bet — as a team — on sustainability. This year, we’ll do so through editorial and visual content about the award, interviews and features on the winning projects, active presence at the fair, and a digital campaign designed to bring these stories to wider audiences. We’ll also be sharing what happens at the heart of VASSAR in real time.

It’s not just about covering an event. It’s about connecting, communicating, and accompanying. Because when we come together, sustainability stops being a trend and becomes a legacy.

VASSAR is not just a fair. It’s a signal.

A signal that it’s possible to create with beauty and purpose. That Colombian innovation has a face, a name, and a territory. And that when shared intentions align, good ideas don’t just get showcased — they grow and multiply.

At Clean Energy, we’re honored to be part of this edition. Because communicating sustainability is not just a job — it’s a responsibility. And because we believe in everything that’s made with soul.

See you at VASSAR 2025.
With spirit, with attentive eyes, and with the will to keep building community.
