ChangeNOW returns to Paris for its tenth anniversary. The question is no longer whether the answers exist, but whether we can put them to work—fast enough to matter.
The world does not lack ideas. It lacks the bridges that carry them from promise into reality.
Technologies wait in pilot projects. Science stops at the edge of policy. Capital gathers around innovation without always reaching those prepared to deploy it. Communities already confronting environmental disruption are invited to share their stories, but rarely given equal power to shape decisions.
ChangeNOW matters because it is designed to shorten those distances—between those who know, those who build, those who finance and those who govern.
From April 26 to 28, 2027, the Grand Palais in Paris will bring together an expected 40,000 participants from 140 countries, including 1,000 initiatives, 10,000 companies and 1,400 investors.
The scale is remarkable. But scale alone proves nothing.
A summit is not impact. What leaves the room can be.
A partnership that outlives the handshake. Capital that reaches an idea ready to grow. Evidence that changes public policy. A technology that moves from the exhibition floor into everyday life. These are the outcomes that separate transformation from theatre.
As ChangeNOW marks ten years, that distinction matters more than ever. We have heard enough promises about the future. The next decade must be built, not announced.
For Latin America, this is not a distant conversation. Our region holds extraordinary biodiversity, renewable-energy potential, scientific knowledge and social imagination. Yet it is still too often treated as a source of raw materials, a destination for climate finance or a landscape to be protected through decisions made elsewhere.
We must enter this conversation not as a backdrop, but as co-authors of what comes next.
The road to ChangeNOW 2027 is an opportunity to bring more of our innovators, communities and ideas into the places where partnerships, capital and influence converge. It must also bring something valuable back: knowledge, relationships and opportunities capable of taking root in our own realities.
Since 2024, ChangeNOW has held a special place in the editorial journey of Clean Energy / Energía Limpia. We have followed its story from inside the Grand Palais and from across the Atlantic, always with the same attention and sense of possibility.
What began as coverage soon became something deeper: encounters that opened new perspectives, ideas that travelled across borders and a renewed conviction that journalism must do more than describe the transition. It must help connect the people making it possible.
ChangeNOW has been—and remains—a profound source of inspiration for us: a place where optimism gains substance, ideas find allies and hope is put to work.
That is why we are excited to announce that Clean Energy will return to ChangeNOW in 2027.
We return to listen, question, connect and report. To bring Latin American voices into the conversation and carry useful knowledge back to the region. To look beyond the spectacle and identify the people, projects and decisions capable of moving the transition forward.
Ten years is an achievement. It is also only a beginning.
We hope ChangeNOW’s first decade becomes the opening chapter of a century-long story—one whose ideas, alliances and work reach far beyond our own lifetime.
This story is just beginning.
And so is the next decade of change.
